60 Second Jam

blogmulberryjam

Who wouldn't want to blend up a small batch of jam in 60 seconds? With this recipe, you can grab mulberries, blueberries, strawberries, or blackberries fresh from your own yard, a upick, your local farmers market, or grocery store and be blending your way into your family's heart and stomach by the next morning, apron and all.;)Try your hand at this simple recipe for your own Martha Stewart moment.

I was so excited to find this recipe free of preservatives and totally natural. I got the idea from Rachel over at Cultivate Adventure , who got the idea from Toronto's Gluten Free Expo, a great website and fb group to get recipes from!!  Ahhhh…and now you get to try out this yummy goodness!!

It really is simple!

Yes, I know my sliders are missing from my measure all spoons.  HAHA. 4 kids who help in the kitchen..need I say more?

60 second Jam

1 c. berries of choice

1 T. chia seeds

1 tsp. honey

Blend in your Vitamix or Ninja, pour into a jar, and place in a fridge overnight.

Wake to your own homemade jam!! Keep refrigerated and eat quickly. (Not that that will be a problem.) Top oatmeal, toast, place in smoothies…eat right out of the jar.  ;)

kathy denson - Love this, made it with blueberries from our own bushes.  I got my chia seeds at Apple -A-Day.  But I am asking Joel at Winn Dixie in Rainbow City, AL (for my local friends)  to carry them they have started carrying Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips which are gluten free as well as the  Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar.

Burchfield - I haven’t.  We have two mulberry bushes. Just enough to eat from fresh. Maybe one day we will have more!!
